AtoZChallenge 2020
Hello Lovelies and welcome to day 10 of the #AtoZChallenge and the letter J. For this year's AtoZ I am introducing my new podcast and eBooks, with character intros, places and themes from The Manor. The episodes go out every Tuesday so look up E, L, R & X, or just check out the podcast & book pages.
I have a character intro today for you, and for J we have one of the most important characters for this season of The Manor. Enjoy 💖.
J is for Joshua
Full Name: Joshua Manston
Aka: Josh
Species: werewolf
Age: 21
Hair: Dark, curly
Eyes: Brown
Height: 6'0''
Pronouns: he/him
Josh is the newest member of The Manor's family, but he originates from Manchester. He is running from his own pack because his alpha, who is also his uncle, killed a human and then wanted Josh to prove himself by killing the only witness to the crime.
Instead, Josh found the girl, explained to her what was going on and how to run and hide from the pack. He ran too, for fear of retribution.
He has a good heart and a strong character that was strangely cowed when he arrived. There was also something strange about the bond he had with his uncle as his alpha, but neither Lucy or Gerry are sure quite what made it so. Lucy's magic is also prickling at her instincts in all things when it comes to Josh, urging her to take a very careful interest.
Josh came to The Manor with historical baggage, but then so did most of the residents. Lucy has promised to protect him and everyone is welcoming, but that doesn't mean he isn't still afraid. When you have been betrayed by all you have known, it is not easy to trust anything at face value ever again.
Thank you for reading, I do hope you enjoyed my introduction to Josh. There is so much more to learn about him, but since he is one of the main protagonists of season 1 of The Manor, you'll have to listen in to the podcast and read the books to find it all out. 💖
Please do comment below and link me to your AtoZ posts if you are taking part 💖. If you don't know what to say feel free to use to question below for inspiration, but don't feel you have to answer it.
Q. Are there lines you will not cross, even for family?
I have a strong sense of write and wrong and I don't not think I could set that aside, even for family. Although, it would, of course, depend on the degree. A little white lie, no problem, an alibi for cold blooded murder, I don't think so.😂
My other self (Natasha Duncan-Drake) is also taking part in this years AtoZChallenge over at Tasha's Thinkings. Her theme is Vampire Drabbles (100 word stories). J is for Juvenile
