AtoZChallenge 2020
Hello, Lovelies, welcome to another day of the AtoZChallenge. I hope you have enjoyed yourselves so far. For this year's AtoZ I am introducing my new podcast and eBooks, with character intros, places and themes from The Manor. The episodes go out every Tuesday so look up E, L, R & X, or just check out the podcast & book pages.
I have a character intro for you today. Allow me to introduce you to Pippa, a significant member of The Manor's pack of werewolves.
P is for Pippa
Full Name: Philipa Tremayne
Aka: Pippa, Pip
Species: werewolf
Age: 25
Hair: blonde
Eyes: blue
Height: 4'11''
Pronouns: she/her
Pippa is the sous chef in The Manor's restaurant. She packs a punch with her food, but when it comes to stature, especially for a werewolf, she's tiny. At 4'1'' she barely stands as high as most of the pack's shoulders.
This is why she is at The Manor. Her original pack is from Cornwall and has traditions associated with being a werewolf. Because of her petite size she could not fulfil these traditions and they kicked her out. She lasted on her own for a while until she bumped into Lucy, who, as Pippa puts it 'packed me up and took me home'. See The Manor episode 4 for all the juicy details.
Pippa started as a waitress in The Manor's restaurant, but when she expressed an interest in becoming a chef, Lucy helped find her a good culinary course and she began in the kitchens, working her way up to sous chef. Given her drive, no doubt, one day she will be the head chef and bossing everyone around.
She may be small, but she makes up for it with presence and personality. When Pippa is in a room she is hard to ignore and she likes to make sure everyone is happy.
Thanks to the fact she was forced to give up her own pack and her family, there is nothing more important to her than the new family she has now. She is determined to make sure Josh understands what he has found in them too.
Please do comment below and link me to your AtoZ posts if you are taking part 💖. If you don't know what to say feel free to use to question below for inspiration, but don't feel you have to answer it.
Q. Have you ever been excluded from something for a reason you could do nothing about?
I have never been able to run because of a congenital defect with my feet and ankles, so I have always been excluded from most everyday sports. It's not something that has really bothered me, since I have plenty of other things going for me, but I have always wondered what it would be like to be able to run.
My other self (Natasha Duncan-Drake) is also taking part in this years AtoZChallenge over at Tasha's Thinkings. Her theme is Vampire Drabbles (100 word stories). P is for Photophobia

Tiny werewolf! I had a tiny werewolf character in a tabletop game once. She was a lot of fun to play :)

Exclusion and inclusion are the light and dark aspects of being social creatures. Pain and pleasure go hand in hand. I'm glad she found a welcoming pack at The Manor.
ReplyDeleteInteresting character :-)
